Desert Plantation, near St. Francisville, LA, is the perfect place for the Louisiana plantation wedding of your dreams. Our historic Southern bed and breakfast is the ideal site for your special day. Our lush scenery provides a beautiful and memorable backdrop for your destination wedding. Our outdoor altar’s walkway is located off the pool area and features a pond in the background with ancient live oak trees draped with Spanish moss surrounding the altar. Imagine exchanging your vows, taking those gorgeous wedding photographs, and hosting your unforgettable reception at our stunning Louisiana plantation.

In case of bad weather, our front porch and central hall can accommodate up to 150 wedding guests. The central hall has an archway in the middle that can be used for the altar.

Spend a romantic honeymoon or celebrate that special anniversary strolling hand in hand on the grounds, horseback riding in the picturesque Louisiana countryside and luxuriating in our elegantly appointed guestrooms.

We are happy to host destination weddings for folks from out-of-state. We will work with you to make your wedding day as memorable and stress-free as possible. We can assist you in finding a rehearsal dinner location and overnight accommodations for your guests. Our in-house florist and caterer, as well as a horse and buggy are available on request. We can recommend local vendors and services such as a photographer, band or DJ, a bakery that delivers and a minister. We can help you plan the wedding and reception in person or by phone and e-mail for those out-of-state.
